Unlike the National League Championship, AVAS also organizes an International Championship of Abacus and Vedic Maths. The championship culminates in a grand award ceremony held every year on December 22nd, in honor of National Mathematics Day. This day commemorates the birth anniversary of the renowned Indian mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan. AVAS’s initiative not only celebrates mathematical brilliance but also promotes a global appreciation for ancient and modern mathematical techniques, inspiring the next generation of mathematicians.
