Introduction

The Abacus is an ancient calculating tool that helps children (ages 5–12) develop strong mathematical abilities through visual learning and mental calculation. By gradually transitioning from a physical abacus to a mental abacus, children enhance their speed, accuracy, memory, concentration, and confidence. The AVAS Abacus Program is designed to make math enjoyable through step-by-step lessons, brain-gym activities, flashcard practice, and interactive exercises—helping children fall in love with learning.
